Internet access, a web camera and a microphone are necessary to use our online link. You can use our telemed portal on your tablet, computer or smart phone! If you don't have internet access at home, you can use a local Wi-Fi in a quiet area. Other helpful accessories that will enhance your telemedicine experience include:

None of these are required but they will help the doctor get the most accurate picture of your situation and prescribe the ideal treatment to make you feel better.

  • Create an account through our telemedicine link and you will be sent to a dashboard where you can request to meet with a provider.

  • We accept most insurance providers through our system and will submit claims on your behalf. Submitted claims are subject to your personal plan details. Coverage is determined based on your available benefits on the date that services are provided.

  • We treat your online visit as if you were here in person. Therefore, we can accept and treat you during the following normal business hours. We do accept same day appointments as first come first serve. Our current wait times can be found on our home page.

    Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 6:30 pm

    Saturday - Sunday: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

  • If you use any other Telemedicine service you run the risk of paying twice. If your symptoms are too serious you will be told to go to your nearest Urgent Care and you will pay for both visits. With Gwinnett Urgent Care Telemedicine if your symptoms are too serious for treatment, whatever you paid for the online visit will be applied toward a visit in our office! Also, you will get to know our Staff who take care of you. Never will you be guessing which random doctor, from who knows where, will be treating you or your family.
